Fished Lake Houston last night with Fisherwood, TheCarpenter, and West0. Started at about 9:30pm and left at 6am. Special thanks to TheCarpenter for his prebait and bucket of maize, which worked great! Scoreboard: TheCarpenter - 5-7 commons on the bank Fisherwood - 2 commons on the bank and big fish of the day 16.8 West0 - 2 commons on the bank with the biggest at 16.3 Nick220722 - 0 commons on the bank and 2 missed runs  Prebait: Maize Most effective bait: Maize (tried other baits with no runs) Most effective rig: Anything neutral bouyant or on the bottom MVP: TheCarpenter Wingman (Netman): Nick220722 - I did catch a carp in the net after it pulled the hook and swam free for a second or two. Rookie of the Year: West0 Best Sleeper: Fisherwood Biggest mishap: Rusty hook in TheCarpenters finger Narrow miss: 4 oz pyramid sinker flying over my head followed by a hair rig at light speed after pulling the hook from a fish while I was netting it. All in all was a great time with good people. Hopefully somebody will post pics soon.

Nice write up Nick you did the night justice. Was a great time and i can prebait anytime if we want to do it again.

Way to go you guys. Looks like you had a great session. Nick, I feel your pain. Just got thru blanking up here. Hanging with fellow carpers made it worthwhile though.

Nick you forgot to mention: until CARPenter showed up at 11, we had no carp on the bank! Justin shows up and BAM he caught 2 or 3 fast ones before any of us had any runs! A$$hole!  It was fun sharing the bank again with you all (and for the first time with West). Lets do it again soon! Also sounded like Woodlands was hot last week! Jason, care to comment?

@Brian Hey it was my turn last time we were there Nick caught 10+ out of the 17 that were landed!
