I am trying to get the hang of fishing here in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas but haven't had the best of luck. The rain had to have an effect on the fishing as of late but is there anyone finding it helped fishing?
Specks and flounder are my favorite to look for..I know the fall winter time is good for flounder and the November gigging will be out again this year. My daughter of 14 likes to go with me so looking for a safe area too. Any help would be nice.

Bill A, fishing has really turned on with the cooler air & water temps.
High tides have been strong and has had a good effect on flushing out the fresh water run-off.
It's "on"
Come getcha some of this stuff !!

Thanks for the fishing news but fishing most of my life in the Cheasepeake bay in Maryland and here are two different worlds.
I wade fish when I can neucesdave mostly at the Texas A&M OSO area. This time of year is best for what I like most Flounder. Just not hooking up with them.
Thanks folks.
