Ok guys i've got one more question about Linking GPS/Sonar units. Do i need a lake map card for each unit or once i get them linked together on the same antenna will they share the map card? Is there a way to down laod the map card.

Not only NO, but HELL NO.
You must put a spliter to devide (seperate, isolated) the signal between the units. They may talk to each other than the way you would like for them to. They will not share the card data between them. They must be loaded seperately.
