I bought a 1987 procraft with an evinrude trolling motor on it. Long story short.....the bracket that keeps the shaft from sliding up and down was broken. I can't seem to find any parts available or I'm not looking in the right place. I need help finding this part or if someone knows if it can be welded. It looks to be aluminum but not really sure. noidea

Is yours a 55#, 12/24 V model with 2 blade plastic prop that is fastened on with a cotter key?

I have one that I need the prop for. Mine is getting nicked.

Didn't mean to steal your thread, but sounds like we may have the same trolling motor. Mine came on a 1985 Ebbtide Bass boat.

Thanks. I pray we both get answers or leads.

I don't know the thrust, but yes, sounds like the same one.
