Fished all last week in Surfside..We put in on the falling evening tides..late afternoon...South winds had bait pushed to the north shorelines of the interior lakes...fluonder were hangin out there near the marsh drains with trout and reds setting up in the 'rip" flowing into the ICW 4 -6 ft. of water...water clarity was chocolate milk all week due to choppy water

How did u retrieve those speck rigs? Was it a constant reeling in? I was using chartruse speck rigs. I was just fishing in the surf about a mile NE of the jetty.

Didnt want to start a new thread. Today was nice.. water was not murky on the channel side.Caught so many trout and a few smack on that side. Pulled in a 36inch 32lb black drum on the beach side. Saw one other group on my left pulled in a 30ish red. On my way to the car. Watched another pulled in a probably 40(?)inch red. Anyone planning to go night fishing tonight might get good tout since the water/wind will be good till 9am.

That's a nice drum!
Have not fish at surfside for a while thinking about going back. Hopefully I can meet you there and learn all the vietanamese fishing tricks.
Enjoy.

Never actually measure the line. Around 2 arm length. Caught them near the end. Caught all my fishes near the end x.x That's a nice drum!

Enjoy. I guarantee you'll learn how to be lazy XD Throw my line then sit down..... Thats what I mostly do even on floater.
