You might want to consider a guide trip, its a huge lake and can get very hairy out there in a small boat if the wind kicks up. If you decide to wing it, try fishing bridge columns and shooting roadrunners and other jigs under boat docks. 5 shots, if no action, move to the next one, if you catch one, theres probably a few more under there. Practice shooting jigs BEFFORE you go. 4.6 ft rod is good for that.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Hire Chuck Rollins with http://www.bigcrappie.com for a trip. My daughter, a friend, and myself went with him and we limited out. He will flat out put you on the fish.

Saw some people fishing the bridges yesterday. I think they would produce fish this time of year.

Bridges are holding a few, docks are beginnin to hold a few, but submerged brush piles are the best right now. The sandbass are also doing good on main lake points and humps. I still have a boat open this weekend if you decide you would like to go out. Just call us and we will get you out there catching fish.
Thanks guys for the referrals.
