I think they were really drug cartel runners. They wont attack people, as theyre trying to avoid bringing attention to what theyre doing. Something or someone mustve instigated them.
Still, we really need to start further securing our own borders and I just cant trust the current administration to do the job right.

This is really crazy.....I am planning on heading to Falcon in February but I may change my plans. Is Amistad seeing similar issues?

Amistad is safe to the best of my knowledge. I think this was a matter of driving up at a pinnacle wrong time and seeing something they shouldnt have...
But if they keep it up itll be hard to run drugs as they will be the only damn boats out there.

Skis or jet skis it really doesn't matter, the deal was, it was broad daylight. Where was the Border Patrol? They have over two hundred bodies in Zapata and several boats. The bad guys have to feel pretty safe to run a load in broad daylight.

I'm jus thinkin..maybe she had a big life ins. policy on him, popped him on the lake so the water would taint evidence, blame on cartel violence. Just thinking outside the box.

The article mentioned the couple was jetting around Old Guerro; which I believe is way up the Salado on the Mexico side or do you think they meant Guerrero down by the dam?

I wonder if this story is true?? If it is its just another reason the US should get this border issue under control.
BUT...I wonder how many high up diplomat pockets are getting filled with cash by not controlling the border?? This issue is going to shape the future of Texas for years to come.
Land was created to provide a place for boats to visit!! It is when pirates count their booty that they become mere thieves. ARRRRRR....
