I have never had a problem with P-Line. That CXX is really strong. I had a 8.25lb bass wrap me up around a ladder on a Boatdock and she couldn't break the 12lb CXX. I got the fish in the boat. That stuff is strong and abraision resistant.

Never had a problem with P line. It is the strongest line of any brand I have used.

I use the 12# and drag fish over and around stumps alot of the time.

Its usually what I use in timber as an alternative to braid.

Yea, you must have had a bad spool. I use the 15 lb on my cranking lures at Falcon, due to all the brush. I have fished the same bait all dait and drug big sacks out of there without ever retying. I also like using it for carolina rigging. The stuff is very tough.

Dont give up on it yet!

I've never had a problem with any p-line like that. Very reliable stuff. Like stated earlier you probably got a bad spool somehow.

I've had problems with every line I've put on. I just learned to watch the line and feel for nicks as I'm reeling in and when I'm putting it on the reel.
P-line is one of my favorite lines but the nice thing about buying my stuff is being able to pick and choose what I put on different rods for different fishing styles.

I bought one spool and the first good fish I had on broke me off. Not again.
