anything b/w 70 and 80 will be the best times for bass to become active and more aggressive.

with that said, you can catch bass any time of the year...just need to adjust your bait presentations a little.

bass gotta eat year around. when the water gets cold most of them go out deeper. But there always seem to be a few shallow year round. Best tip..colder the water slow down the presentation. Also, there is always exceptions.

Binky, do some spell checking. start with the title of the tread. And if you catch fish everytime you go out, we could all learn from ya. Just ask some of the local guys in your area what works for them on that body of water your wanting to fish and give it a try. I think alot of guys will agree that it's what you learn when your not catching them that makes you a better fisherman overall.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know when to go fishing.

Binky, This is the best time of the year. For the next month or so you can catch um on topwaters, crankbaits, worms anything. Go to the mouths of creeks amd big coves on the north side of the lake and start fishing toward the back. If you see shad flicking fish around that spot real good. The fish feel good when the water is in the mid 70 degree range and they are fatting up for winter. Have fun!

Binky, any time you can go fishing is a good time. This is prime feeding time of the year for bass. It's JERKS LIKE LIBERTY that want to check someones spelling and make himself look like an IDIOT when he can't spell THREAD. Glad to see the youth trying to learn all they can about fishing. I hope you don't let some JERK keep you from asking questions. There's worst places you could be on the Internet than TFF. Keep posting!
