I'm fishing yesterday on LL. Had a marker out. These two obese druts show up and anchor about 25 yds. away and start fishing. I caught a couple of fish. They then pull up anchor and reposition the boat to where it is directly in line with my marker and start letting out anchor rope. They only got 10 FEET away from my marker. I asked them if my marker was in their way and they responed "Oh, sorry about that". I said no you aren't and they said yeah your right. Didn't know of anything else to do, so I started my main motor up, got the bow in the air and circled them and then left. Can't believe what some people will do. If you see an old Ranger w/Merc. from Denison and two shirtless beer bellies in it, give them a wake that will knock them out of the boat. soap

seems like this kind of thing gets posted on here way too often. Personally, it's never happened to me. I guess the biggest "discourtesy" I've been paid while fishing was at the ramp one day when a guy told me he should be allowed to launch ahead of me (though I was there first) because he had a much nicer boat than I did. Something like, "MY boat deserves to be in the water..." Some people...

I don't live for the thump, but I sure do like it.

Please say you didn't leave the marker?

I call those type of people the 2 percent'ers.

Two percent of the people muck it up for the rest of us.

I have had sea do folks run in between the me and the marker before. the nerve of folks.
I have had a guy launch his boat and let it float out in the lake and then asked me to take him to his boat.

I asked did it get away from you no I do this all the time.

I saw a guy holding up traffic at the ramp once because he didnt want to back his truck far enough down the ramp. The boat was way to high and wasnt near floating, and he kept yelling at his poor wife to PUSH .. She pushed and pushed, with her foot, everything she had but it wasnt budging. He had a big F250 with good tires, on a good ramp, but was just afraid to back it up far enough for the boat to float off. Finnally I couldnt take it anymore and went over and told him that the boat had to float off the trailer, and his wife was nearing cardiac arrest from pushing on his boat. He finnally reluctantly inched it down enough for her to push it off, but he wasnt liking it. It amazes me sometimes how people with 40 thousand dollar boats, and 30 thousand dollar trucks can have so little common sense.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I am no longer amazed at peoples actions, and complete lack of courtesy. The ones that kill me (aside from the other idiots), are the fools who can't load a sea doo, let alone a boat.
Unfortunately, common sense is the least "common" of all senses.

i can understand you guys being mad at the guys who pull up next to your marker, but to be pi$$ed because a guy take to long at the ramp. i am in my first year as a boat owner and while i am not as fast as some of the bass boat guys who have launched a boat every day for 15 years i am getting better. now if someone is there arranging their gear then i can see that, but to get pi$$ed at someone just for not being experianced doesnt make sense to me.

Yea I would have pulled the bouy before his anchor hit the water the first time. I am not amazed at too many things anymore. Its ashamed.
