Where would be a good place to try this time of the year on Lewisville. What would be the bait of choice if you couldn't catch fresh shad.

Hooker, we need to go out and set some jugs out together this summer. I am off all summer due to the fact I am a teacher.

I use beef kidney, Bar S hotdogs and shad. Had good luck with all of them. Caught from #30 to little dinks. Last weekend biggest was 14.

shad (get frozen from the Beer Barn in Corinth if you can't catch any.)Also we used some old Johnsonville brats and caught a few 8 to 9 #ers about a month ago.
Think shallow for bigger fish, 8 to 12 feet deep near points and drop offs.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
