We will be going to Lake Whitney at the Little Rocky Lodge this Sunday for a Hockey Team Meeting, after my son would like to do some fishing, any ideas, probably cats and anything else we might be able to catch from the bank. Thanks

Where about were you fishing, also do you know if you can get below the dam and what is biting down there?

below the dam has some great cement landing / deep and fast release water / metal railing / fishing on the S side

the n end has a fantasic but smallish wadeable stretch for waist deep spin casting and flyrodding

if you do go in and get caught in the flow, the next road crossing is 8 miles down, so's it is a long hard swim ; )

but you can stay out of that easily enough

You can also rent a canoe and paddle down for the day about $ 50 bucks including shuttle - just ask around or look up

Outback / Dicks Canoe Rental it is on hwy 2114

hey its 254 622 8364

it a great safe trip

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.
