Boat Check and Launch will be at Calliham Unit starting at 5:00 a.m. Honor Start. Contestants may start fishing
at 6:00 a.m.
Late registration will be at Calliham Unit starting at 5:00 a.m.
Hourly Big Bass weigh-in will be held at Calliham Unit.
Final weigh-in will be at the main pavilion and will begin at 2:30 p.m. Entries must be in line by 3:00 p.m. No
grace period.

25th ANNUAL REBEL OPEN 2010 TOURNAMENT RULES
1.PARTICIPATION/ELIGIBILITY: This is an individual tournament. Each contestant must fish from a boat. All
occupants of a boat must be registered contestants. At least one contestant in a boat must be 18 years of age.
2.ENTRY FEES must be paid prior to fishing the tournament.
3.LATE REGISTRATION will be at Calliham Unit Choke Canyon starting at 5:00 a.m. on the 16th of October 2010. A
late fee of $15.00 per contestant will be charged for entries not postmarked by the 6th of October 2010. Late entries must be
paid by cash or money order .
4.LAUNCH FEE is the responsibility of the contestant.
5.BOAT LAUNCH: Must be at Calliham Unit, have tournament boat & livewells inspected, and attach colored ribbons to
the front or rear of the boat. Honor start. Contestants may start fishing at 6:00 am.
6.BOAT REGULATION: Adequate live wells are mandatory on each boat to provide aeration to maintain fish in good
condition for a live release after weigh-in. In the event of a mechanical breakdown, a contestant may take their catch, get
into another contestants boat, and return to the host marina for weigh-in.
7.THE HOURLY BIG BASS WEIGH-IN will be held at Calliham Unit. Contestant may bring a fish to be weighed for Big
Bass of the Hour during any eligible hour, regardless of what hour the fish was caught during the tournament. Once the fish has
been weighed for the Big Bass of the Hour, the fish will only be eligible for that hour and become the property of the
tournament organizers. Each contestant weighing a Big Bass of the Hour will receive a weigh slip for that fish. Each
contestant will only be eligible to claim one prize per hour. Any fish weighed during the hourly Big Bass will become
part of that contestants 5 fish limit. All bass weighed in for Big Bass of the Hour must BE ALIVE. Any unclaimed hourly
big bass money will be carried over to the next hour. The top two weights will be posted facing the water so contestant(s) may
drive by to check their chances at a big bass award.
8.PERMITTED FISHING WATERS: No fishing is allowed inside the no wake buoys of the host marina area. All fishing
must be done from a previously inspected boat. Boats may not be trailered to weigh-in. No fishing is allowed within 50
yards of another competitors anchored boat unless invited.
9.SCORING: Each contestant may weigh-in five (5) fish with a minimum length of fourteen (14) inches measured with
mouth closed, tail bunched on a flat board. A dead fish penalty of four ounces (1/4 lb.) per fish will be subtracted. Any short
fish will be disallowed and will result in disqualification from the tournament. Any contestant bringing more than five (5)
fish to the scales will be disqualified. Any contestant disqualified will not receive a refund of entry fees. Ties will be
decided by a flip of a coin.
10.Only BLACK BASS and SMALL MOUTH BASS will be weighed. No iced, frozen, or pale gilled fish will be weighed.
11.PERMITTED FISHING METHODS: Fishing will be done at Choke Canyon Reservoir only. No fishing is permitted
with more than one rod at a time per contestant. All fish must be caught on artificial baits by casting. No trolling or live bait.
No pooling of fish between contestants allowed.
12.WEIGH-IN: Final weigh-in will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the large pavilion at Calliham Unit. Contestants must be in line
by 3:00pm. Contestants who are not in the official weigh-in line by 3:00 pm will not be allowed to weigh.
13.SAFETY: All contestants must have life jacket on and kill switch attached while boat is on plane.
14.SPORTSMANSHIP AND CONDUCT: Consumption and/or possession of alcoholic beverages or any mind-altering
substance during tournament hours extending through the weigh-in procedure is prohibited. Any contestant caught littering
will be disqualified without a refund of entry fees. Any contestant who displays poor sportsmanship may be disqualified
from the tournament without a refund of entry fees.
15.PROTESTS must be submitted in writing to the tournament director within 15 minutes of the final weigh-in. All decisions
of the tournament committee will be final.
16.POLYGRAPH TESTS will be given before the prizes are distributed. Contestant must pass the polygraph exam to receive
prize money. Number of tests given will be determined at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
17.DISQUALIFICATION. Any contestant disqualified for any reason will not receive a refund of entry fees.
18.All Federal, State, and local laws and regulations must be observed. UNDER TEXAS LAW, IT IS A CLASS "A"
MISDEMEANOR TO CHEAT IN A BASS TOURNAMENT.
19. Winners must be present at weigh-in to receive prize .

Fisher Girl - is the cost for a Junior still $75, or do the Juniors have a different division they can enter for less.
