Hi all.
I am trying to find out who makes the "flea fly" lure. Want to acquire some before I get on the water. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Fle-Fly Mfg. Don't know if it means anything, but a search I did came up with a real estate listing in Fritch, Texas for Fle-Fly Mfg. Are they out of business? Used to kill 'em on the Brazos with those little things!

I think the Flea-Fly (an early manufacturer of jigs) went out of business when Gibson's Discount stores stopped stocking them. That's the last place I ever bought any.

Flea fly is still in business in Fritch, They make a pretty good jiggin spoon( my 2nd favorite to the little river prism). Are you looking for the spoon or the feather jig? I think they still sell both. If you ever come to east texas, try discount city in Jacksonville. Good luck MO

Aren't Flea Flies very similar to the standard crappie jig? If they're an improvement over the crappie jig, the must be darn good, cause in little water it's tough to beat a chartreuse, white or yellow CJ...

The Flea Fly I am looking for is the crappie jig being referrenced. The spoon/slab I have seen and that is the Fle-Fly.
I appreciate all the help and hope to be able to find some in SA when I am down there on 14 March. Going after some whites with a friend. There is a setup where you put a flea-fly behind (18-30 inches) a torpedo (with tail hook removed) and it works great.
Thanks again.

I've got a few left from some I bought about 15 years ago in Missouri. Haven't tried them in Texas. If anyone wants to know what they look like I'll take a picture.
Sorry, I have no idea where you can buy them now.
Oh yeah! They are definitely crappie jigs. I caught a lot of crappie on them on Mark Twain Lake.

The guy that makes the flea fly lives in Fritch. You can call Larry's Marine in Fritch and find out how to get some. The Phone number is (806) 857-3464 or walleye@arn.net. Hope this helps.

Or folks, I can look for the address where you can call and order this product. I have it here in a drawer. Last year I ordered $160.00 worth of Fle-Flys jigs. I just wish they made those things as well as they use to. The feathers on the ends are not as long as they use to be. I never throw any of my jig heads away, I take them and tie new buck tail hair, or feathers on them and keep on trucking. I have jigs that I have collected that are at least 20 years old. The secrets to Fle-Flys are the design of the jig heads
