Not only are the brush piles off-limits to guys on Rayburn, but I have heard for the last few days that all the lily pads fields North of the 147 are off-limits too. Believe me there are alot of fish up there and our 21 pounds for two day in the BassnBucks Championship may not reflect that,(or the 50 yard stretch that we went back on because we missed 3 good ones there early) because we stink at putting SPRO frog fish in the boat. But, I do want to make a public apology for not seeing the No Trespassing signs that were hidden by the pads! Sorry guys, just venting, Rayburns public fishing areas are shrinking.

Not sure I understand whats going on. Who posted Rayburn Water? It belongs to everyone.

Frogman all I can say is "You are the man." I hate competition fishing for frog fish in the pads, but you can catch a good sack out of them. To catch 41 out of them and loose none, or even a few is great. Good job.

Had a guy a few years ago come in on some friends of mine near Harvey mid morning and claim those were his fish and they should leave. My buddy told him "then you should have been here to start with". Said the guy was rude he was fishing a real tournament and you bass club guys should get out of the way.

Word on the street is that it has nothing to do with the who's water it was. It was how it was handled. There are no off limits up there except for my spots haha. Just don't cut me off this weekend!

Like I said 50 yard stretch that we lost 3 good ones on 20 minutes before the other boat showed up, yes we wanted to go back through it. Look, we were goin to the other side of the lake in the first place, until we were told Friday nite how many fish had been stuck in Easley. I think it's funny, we only had 21 lbs. we didn't hurt it enough for it to be an issue in my opinion. but we keep hearing that it obviously was.

DAVID D., my partner and I fished some lilypads north of the 147 bridge at Rayburn and we jumped somebodys fish, we didn't see the no trespassing signs that the other team had posted!!!LOL! Frogman, congratulations on your finish, if you are willing to give SPRO frog lessons, we would probably pay for the class at this point in time!

It sounds like more and more signs are being posted on Rayburn. I didn't know the lake turned private? HAHA!

I wouldn't worry about it too much!

What is the difference in "cutting someone off" and "coming in on top of someone who was already there "? Maybe you should ask who was on the stretch of pads first. I am not one to get into these "chidlish" spats, until my name is included, and it was. I have fished "above 147" since I was big enough to get in the boat with my dad. Anyone that gets in my boat knows that as does the majority of fisherman that I compete against and with. Yes, there is a lot of fish in this vast area, and I have made a respctable name for myself "up here". Everything I fish "up here" is stuff I have figured out on my own or with input from other good fisherman, mainly my dad. If I am in an area fishing, it is NOT because some of our "Local Studs" have beeen catching them there, it is because "Clayton Boulware" figured out there was fish there. I love the sport of bass fishing, it is an obsession for me, and a way to get rid of the stress of my five day a week job. Now, this childish "you cut me, you on my fish" bull [censored] starts and makes me ask why I even care, but I do. You gentlemen can harass, argue, make claims or stakes if you want, or whatever, but keep me out of it.

Clayton, I think we should get some yellow flagging tape, wrap it from Veach to the Forest, and into Harvey and declare that water as ours!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love my own section! I live in Longview, so I'm not sure I qualify?

Can we call the corp office and reserve a spot?

I'm just messing around guys! I don't fish Rayburn as much as ya'll. I would be upset too!

I promise ya, I'm always stepping on toes when I fish Rayburn. It's tough to know who's hole is who's, when I only fish Rayburn one week out of the year. Most people are very nice about it when I do show up.
