Watching the gauge at Lake Lewisville on

Noticing we got over 2.5 inches of rain and the lake came up 4 inches. Now for you math whizzes since we are 10 ft low how much rain will it take to get back to a normal depth? A Bunch!! I would have thought that with as much rain as we are getting the lake would rise more. Can anyone enlighten us on the "hydrology" of the water shed?
