Where can I start looking for shad on Tawakoni? I've been practicing with the throw net & think I can do it without throwing myself in the water:-)
Also looking for a single boater friendly place to launch? Any help would be appreciated. I have never been there before.

Anchor Inn is a good place to put in and Waco Bay along FM751 bridge would be the place to get your shad. You can also put in by Duck cove witch is on FM751 you can catch your shad right there at the ramp

try the cove between the dam and holiday marina, i have got shad there many times
