Fished Reimers Ranch on Friday the 3rd.
Had to walk a long way to find fish; I caught (in this order), 1 white bass, 1 crappie, 1 gaspergou, 1 striper...and on my last cast a spotter gar. I caught the gar with a soft plastic on 4 lbs test. I've never caught a gar...I must say after 1 hour of walking to find fish hooking into the gar was fun.
It looks like the run is 1-2 weeks from the shallow water.

No...the river is really low. The water conditions are: shallow water to small rapids to deep pools (3-5 feet). It looks like this for 2-3 miles.
If the whites can make it to Reimers then every deep pool will be a honey hole.

how big was the striper? noticed my first LMB on a bed this afternoon, and the crappie have taken up residence on the shallow brush piles.

sportsman3535- My pleasure and glad you had a good time. I wound-up with 11 keeper whites, with 1 magnum about 17"... Plus 1 black(greenfish...lol) and 1 white that other guy fishing artificials gave us... I left about 1:00a.m. being Anjanette woke-up, honking her horn letting me know she was tired of Probally, could have caught my limit if I'd had stayed to daybreak... But probally would have been walking home... (My (last girlfriend) told me if I went fishing without her, she was going to leave me)... !!Damn, I miss that girl!!... And I surely don't want to lose Anjanette, being she is definitely a (keeper)... !!That's for sure!! !!GOOD FISHING AND FUN TO ALL!! FISHINGFOOL40
