I am in for the pickerel thing for shure, I have unfishneshed business there for sure. But Ill be in downtown Dallas on the 9th, so if you can figure out a way to exctract me. . .
I can easily enough detour through downtown on my way to Athens. It's only about 2 hours (or less from downtown) so you'd be back in plenty of time for anything that's happening after dark. Your call. Gonna run that by thge boss Jack. tip toes

I'd invite myself along but I have to be in New Orleans that day... trying to finagle a red-fishing expedition the day before, so hopefully it won't be a total loss.
Would like to go fishing with you guys at some point.

Dang it... Ya'll always seem to plan these things when I have something to do I can't get out of. The 9th is our 25th wedding anniversary party, and I've already purchased my kilt for the event. (really, that wasn't a misprint, or even a joke, my choice, and one of the many things about me that makes her roll her eyes and walk away...  ) But I will try and get the pickerel trip on my schedule. Just come up with a date so I can get the ball rollin'...

OK, so after some consultation with SWTRHWMBO, it has come to my attention that Sunday the 10th would work better from a "Keep Good Ol' TXRR Married" standpoint. Will Sunday work for everyone instead of Saturday?

The 10th won't work with church and all and the wife working that night. Guess you'll have to laugh at my fishability at a later date...say the pickerel-a-thon.

TXRR have you asked SWTRHWMBO about the 9th. If it don't work, no sweat. If it does I need to find a baby sitter for a few hours...so quit stringin' a brother along.
