I've never stayed in the motel and was just looking for a little feedback. The wife and I are gonna take a guided trip in a couple weeks for our anniversary and was curious what everyone's thoughts were...

The best place to stay on the lake in my opinion and im sure many more will agree with me. They got everything you need, and the food at Tiffany's (formally Moser's) is awesome. Im not so sure about the large 6'8 lanky man that sells candy bars and DD 22's in the shop tho Yall will have a great time staying there.

Make sure you buy that wife of yours some pie while you're there.. After that start bringing her back some and she'll want you to go to Fork.

If they are busy or the wife happens to want to upgrade a bit, also try out 'Lake Fork Lodge' just down the street.....much more of a lodge experience, especially if the wife wants big rooms with queen size bed, a full kitchen, a big pool table/game/tv room, a hot tub, private gated parking/private boat launch and pier and the place usually is very private during the week AND IS IMMACULATELY CLEAN. We stay only there when my family joins me and we fish Fork. www.lakeforklodge.com Restaurants are across the street. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! (Boat picture below was taken off their back porch....)

Thanks guys, I figured it was good to go... I went and checked out the site and saw that they have a suite also. Evan the wife has been hearing about Tiffany's and the pie, she already said that we had to eat there atleast once...

You can not beat the service anywhere...and the pies...Best anywhere around!!!
Don't be scared of the big 6'8" lengthy guy selling candy bars and DD 22's. He is really harmless and a great guy at that. We took 30 kids there for Bass Camp 2010 and he was great. That many kids for a week can wear out the patience of anyone, but being a BIG kid himself, made for a great week!!
Can't wait to return for some pies and great hospitality!!
