Look under your hood you will see a big square box that's your fuse panel just pull the top off look under the lid it will have TRL for trailor lights or running lights use the manuel to find running lights. Also when you find them go to Auto Zone and get the fuse kit that when the fuse blows it glows and you will know where it is next time plus make sure your ground is good.

Blown fuse would be easy fix, however might want to check the wiring on the trailer frame, a wire rubbing on the frame will blow fuses, also might have a wire completely rubbed through or connection pulled apart since all other lights are working except taillights.

I know f250 Fords have a separate fuse under the hood just for trailer running lights. It smart of Ford to do this so that you do not losee the tail lights on the vehicle when you have a short on the trailer. It could be a number of things causing the fuse to blow but mostly likely a short on the trailer.

Look in your manual. When my trailer lights stopped working a few months ago i looked in the manual for my F150 and found which fuses ran the trailer lights. After pulling two of them i found the one that was blown. If you dont try and find the diagram in your manual, you are going to be looking through a lot of fuses to find one blown one.

Are you running a pig tail? or hooking right to truck plug. I have the same problem when I run the pigtail to the truck, seems the connection isn't made at times, just re-connect and the trailer lights work. If your hooking straight to the truck, would check the fuse first the the trailer wiring.

The fuses under the hood ar for trailering. Just because one blows doesn't mean that there is a short. Weter in the plug will cause it. Anyhow I would bet that is the problem.

Well, when i got a problem on my boat trailer lights it was not due to a blown fuse but rather a wrong wiring connection. TO correct my trailer light wiring, i used the Trailer Wiring Diagram and Color Chart i searched from google.
