 200 johnson gt oil mixing or vro system?

The vro system was disconnected. How do I put the oil in? Or is it ok to hook up the vro system back up? Don't know how to put oil in. In the gas tank? Or trust the vro system? This is my first boat. Sorry I'm a newbie to this.

Unless you are planning on replacing the VRO at this time, You better stay with the pre-mix.. Add 1 pint of 2 cycle TCW II oil per 6 gallons of fuel and at the same time add one ounce of Marine Stabil per 10 gallons of fuel. This goes straight into the fuel tank.......

J/E oil will work just fine, and age of the engine has nothing to do with the VRO working or not, since it has been disconnected for a long period of time.

And Mike forgot to tell your a VRO pump is over $400-premix it....

How reliable is the VRO systems if I were to replace it? I've heard of a few that have one and blew their motors cuz it quit working!
