Looks like I got pheasant on my mind.
The work leash gave me a tug early this morning.
Turned on the radio and Big Billy Kinder was talking about pheasants.

Way cool! Thanks. That method looks very easy. Jay has quite a mustache.

I need to revise and extend my remarks. Looks like the variety pack contained a mini-pheasant skin.

Got one from H&H today. It is huge - fills out a 12x15 bag. Lots of pretty feathers to lash onto hooks.

Here's a great place to get pheasant tail clusters:

http://www.hideandfur.com/inventory/3175.html

I have some from them and they are the best I have ever seen.

They are also the place to go anytime you need a cougar skull!

that would look mighty fine on your desk Mick. And it might make that cat think twice about raiding the tying room... smile

Those tail clusters look sweet.

I doubt the cats would appreciate a cougar skull - the bugger might try to eat their food.

We had a mule skull when I was a kid. Looked cool around Christmas, with lights for eyes and a Santa hat.

Way cool. What can you tie with them feets?

I've had the song "When I Paint My Masterpiece" in my head. If i were the artist type, I'd have to throw out the paints. Hard to beat this masterpiece:
