 Problem with Lowrance Side Scan

Justin, Jim Brown told me to post here to solicit your help. I have an HDS-8 console mounted and an HDS-10 mounted on the bow. I an unable to get any image on my side scan. The down scan seems to work "OK" but nothing on the side scan.
I have the old model Jaguar and Rockwall Marine mounted my LSS-1 with the transducer on the elevated flat portion portion behind the well. It is encased in a Ducer Saver but based on other posts that shouldn't cause me any problems.
