http://www.kcbd.com/global/story.asp?s=3312214 The search for a Littlefield woman has come to a tragic end. At 2:30 Friday afternoon, the Lubbock Fire Department Dive Team recovered the body of a woman, believed to be Sharla Lowery.
The 49-year-old was reported missing Monday. Tuesday, Garza County authorites found Lowery's Oldsmobile abandoned at Lake Alan Henry. Divers recovered the body in the lake, near where the car was abandonded.
An autopsy willl be perfomed. The exact cause of death is unknown at this time but no foul play is suspected we will of course follow this story and bring you information as it is released.
