jd Lyle will fish lures or bait depending on what is working best. one of the few that is equally as good at either.
Some will proclaim to be great at lures even when lure fishing is not good. JD has honored my requests for fishing lures when possible but tells me the truth when it's not the most productive way of catching fish.
I had a top water trip with JD last week and many bait trips over the last few years...all have been excellent!

If I was going to Big Tex, I would go with J.D. Lyle or Chris Carey. Don't cut corners...pay for the best, get the best!

He does smell like shad, but that is a good thing, unless you're Pam sick
