Beautiful day on the lake today. Got out about 8:45 found a few small fish among the birds east of Lake Park. Lots of fish off the Twin Trees humps(mostly small but some good ones mixed in). Left those to look for some bigger ones when 3 guys in another boat wanted my spot bad enough they were less than 10 yds away. Went up to Gravel Pit and Deadman and found a few but couldn't interest them. Back to Twin Trees and there were now five boats on the spot, so I passed by and went on to MIll Street hump and found nothing. Noticed some birds working a small cove on the north side so checked it. Jackkpot! Big school of large sandies with a few hybrids and they stayed in the area for 30 minutes. No other boats showed up, so I had those all to myself and caught 20 out of that school. Twin Trees fish were all caught on slabs, the last 20 on a Humdinger. Quit about 1:00 with a total of 63 fish. Kept 14 for the freezer.

Met Drifter on the lake for the first time today. Had a nice vist.

That is a good day you had there Dave. I will be on the lake tomorrow. Probably will not see you or drifter since both of you only fish weekdays.

Don, I am taking my daughter and future daughter-in-law to LL tomorrow (Sat.). Maybe I'll see you there. Don't want to crowd you if you have customers. Don't like to go on weekends, but my daughter goes back to Houston Sunday.
