Are there any creeks or lakes in far north Dallas near Coit/Campbell that have some great fishing?

Not sure that far. But over where 35 meets loop 12 there is a big tank there. I go over to the warehous buildings there all the time and the people there say they have seen some pretty nice fish come from there, they say they night workers get good ones too.

I think you're kind of in the middle. You can choose Lake Lewisville or Lake Lavon.

One good way to find "secret" fishing spots is to get on google maps, look for bodies of water, find out how to get there and explore. There is a river over in lewisville, runs along 35 and under toll 121 with a couple connecting ponds. Never tried there though.

Take a look at Oak Point Park and Twin Lakes Park on this map: DFW Bank Fishing Map There are also a few others on the map that are close to Coit and Campbell.
