Any opinions on the 2010 Baystealth 2150 with an Optimax 150hp?
Is that enough power?
$25,900?

I have that model with a Yamaha 150. With the right prop you can get about fifty mph out of it. Blakes boats in Corsicana has one in stock. You may check with him. If you want to try one out give me a pm.

Good boat with a great ride. Sometimes a little wet but show me a boat that really isn't in a cross wind. Riding in that same boat, made me buy one. Although, mine is a 2230 with a 200. Liner boat and somewhat heavier. If that boat is a rolled edge, that 150 is way more than ample. IMHO.

I spoke with Lamar about the boat yesterday.
Worth a test drive anyway...he's doing some work on my boat and already said he would take it as a trade in. So I may be able to pick it up for <$20K out of pocket.

Looks like a 150 is the max hp rating. Should be fine.

I agree, any boat is going to get you a little wet in wind and rough water. My buddy Varner has a Sea Pro and we got a little wet in wind and waves. Samething goes for JD's boat, which is a 28' Outback, but the wind has to be hitting 20+ and the waves are rolling at 4'+. It's not saying anything bad, it's just the way it is. However, some boats are much worse than others, due to hull and gunnel design.

I had a 2250 or something like that for 5 years..if I was going to get another CC it would be a bay stealth...but I would go with a 200 or better if it were me. My stealth had a 200 and it would go faster than I ever needed it to.
