Going to Richland Chambers Tuesday morning. We'll be on the lake before first light and we're planning on putting in around the dam somewhere (maybe Fisherman's point). Hopefully, it won't be crowded and we'll be able to get on some good sandies.
Any advice on where we should start looking/where they've been schooling?

Was out there on 7-31-06 man fishtermans point is low low! Seen two guys break their transducers off just launching their boats. STUMPY STUMPY STUMPY!!! Sandy's on southwest bank from damn to light house from 9 am till well after noon! 309 might be a better choice than Fishermans point(wich isnt worth the four dollars to me when transducers are getting broke off) Good luck buddy!

Thanks for the info Stumpjumper. I'll be sure and keep an eye on those stumps. We'll be in an aluminum boat, so I'm not too concerned with it (though I don't want to break any transducers off).
It's supposed to be really cloudy down there tomorrow with a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms all day long. So, I really want to be close enough to the boat ramp to get off the lake if one blows in on us. I don't play well with lightening.
Anyway, I'll post a report on Thursday and let you guys know how we did.
