With all the fish referance on the internet should not be too hard to find a picture of what you saw. No stripers in EM afew hybrids from Bridgeport. No 8 lb sandbass unless you smoking some funny weed or some bad hooch.

its the illusive pacu's they're in grapevine and lake worth too....they look like a perch but get huge if given the opportuninty, i had a baby in a fish tank one year that was nearly 12" and if they have no predators and are in a place that big they'll get huge....they're silverish with redish bellies and have two red pectoral fins generally.

i was up in the north end around the stumps and in the small deep creeks on saturday and i also so these fish jumping and were wondering the same thing, the first fish i saw was out of the corner of my eye and i just figured it was a sandy, but then i found out it wasnt.

yes, they were a nice size, i went up the river a bit more and came around a bin and there were 2 boats tied up with there lines taking up the whole river, so i could not get through because they were not moving them, and i did not want to cut there lines, and they wernt to nice when i came around the bin and had to come to a dead stop to keep from hitting them, if they were nicer i would of asked them what they were catching and if they knew what those fish were, but i just got out of there,

Were the boats past the old duckblind looking thing? Big white boat

there were so many big white boats on saturday haha, it was about 8:00am and it was far in the back past the duck blind.

and saturday was the opening day of early teal season so that may be what that guy and is girl friends were doing, along with all the other shots going on out there.

It couldve been just about anything. I've seen some 2-3 lb mirror carp jump as of late.
