Gosh! Are there fish biting anywhere? Very few reports. How about Bridgeport? Ray Hubbard? Lewisville? Morning? Afternoon? Artificials?
Help!

Ratmo,
I may be going to BP in the morning, too. I'll be in a white Century center console. Will probably be launching at Wise about 7-7:30. What kind of boat do you have?
Any ideas where the sandies and hybrids will be? I'll probably try Rattlesnake and the rock pile.

I saw a good report a couple of days ago on the pattern. Do not remember who put it out though.

I seem to have lost touch with my inner fisherman - I haven't wanted to go & haven't been since the 8/20 sandy tourny on LL. Seems like my fishing buddies are going through the same thing. Maybe a post dog days lull?

BobC...Bridgeport...leaving Wise the area where the 2 creeks dump into the main lake. The little cove on the left and then the 100 yrds on into the main lake = fish on top everywhere.
Enjoy!!! I am headed to the Six Old Geezer's Fish Fry at Texoma.

Wow!! What a Thursday on Bridgeport! We did get into some fish in the area north of the 380 bridge. Caught several magnums in the am. Couldn't find them anywhere else, at least that would take a lure. Clouds started rolling in from the NW. Then lightning close by. It started with light rain, but the in north beyond the clouds looked like it was going to clear. We were a ways from the Wise ramp, so we decided to take a brief shelter under a covered slip at Runaway Bay. We had just pulled into the slip about 1:30, then all hell broke loose! It rained.....hard....as hard as I have ever seen it in my 66 years....for about 2 hours! Terrific thunder and pretty high wind. We could hardly see out of the small cove, much less out into the lake. The weather finally subsided and we decided to try fishing a little more. By the time we got 100 yards from the cove, it started raining again. Wearing rain gear, we kept going toward the ramp. After putting the boat on the trailer, the sun came out!! We decided to drive around to the Runaway Bay ramp to see what was going on. The sun was out and the water glassy smooth. So......we launched again! What the H-ll happened to the fish? We finally found them near where they were earlier and caught a few more before leaving. All fish caught on Humdingers, Kastmasters, and slabs.

Will be out in the AM on Bridgeport, Should be some Sandies up top. Have been hitting the Hybrids pretty good as well. The SECOND day after a front is usually pretty good on the lake. Keith www.lakebridgeportguideservice.com

I KNEW I should have gone back today!! As I stated earlier, we found sandies on Thursday (no hybrids, though), but were distracted watching those thunder clouds. My buddy and I weren't really able to establish a pattern too well because of the weather AND trying to save a little ga$. I don't mind rain, at least a semi-gentle one cause I have rain gear, but lightning and I don't get along at all!

Hey RN, It was great to meet you yesterday, and thanks again for the locators!!! Yeah Bob, We found a few hybrid and alot of mangnums. There was a boat with two fellers and a gal bout 50 yds from me pullin in tha hybrids every third fish looked like to me. They were usin a 1 to 1 1/2 oz chart slab. I managed to get a 20" in tha boat, usin a 1oz white slab. Course when i changed over to the color they were usin, i caught nadda, LOL
