Sorry to hear about your loss.
I dont know much about kayaks. Do you happen to know if theyre serialized??
If so, and you have the serial number, you should report it asap. You may be able to obtain it from a receipt or other document when you first bought it.
Most thieves often will take it to a pawn shop (for a measely $50), and pawn shops often record the S/N once they accept it.

No serial number that I can recall. I had just bought it off a guy a few months before and this was just the 4th or 5th time to take it out.
