Congrats to all you folks that will get a BP much closer to your home town. Always great to support economy on the eastern side of big cities.

I have one 15 minutes from my house. I wish it would move away, and so do my Wife and Kids. Nothing better than going to the mall and hearing from my oldest daughter say "Dad...Bass Pro again???"

I live right off beltline rd and this will be great for me, I think they should have built the 1st one on this side of town instead of the middle of nowheres.This store will be smaller than the store at Grapevine (200,000 sq ft)but will get almost as much business.
When the need arises--and it does--you must be able to shoot your own dog.Don't farm it out--that doesn't make it nicer.it makes it worse.

Cool, now all you goobs will stay outta the basspro by my house :p Being on the water though, that's really cool, might have to start taking my lunch trips to the Hubbard bass pro and save grapevine for night trips

I will be minutes from it. I'm thinking part time job. Of course I would be paying them back my pay check. Ok maybe not the best idea.

I know the feeling. When the BPS in Katy was being built- I couldnt wait. After 1 year, I got tired of goin there to find a particular item- just to find it later, somewhere else cheaper.

I was going north up 35W on Sunday and just south of Alliance there is a sign in an empty field that says, Welcome Cabela's. Anyone heard any more news on this.

In their catalog they are much better on hunting equipment. But I think BPS may have they beat on fishing.
