Ive read a couple of posts about Hubbard and wanted to pass along a couple of tips. The area on the east side out in front of the red barn has had alot of activity. Also the area in front of the old torn down bridge south of Rush Creek.A lure that I have had huge sucess with over the years there is a cotton cordell[CC] jigging spoon. It comes with a shiney chrome finish.I take my pliers and grind off about half that finish. It leaves a mix of chrome and lead or nickel looking finish. It will not catch much when they are on top but when they are down it is deadly!!Try this fished as vertical as you can when you find a school.Try a slow lift and fall as well as a fast jerk up 3 to 5 ft and fall to find out how they want it,,,Hope this helps

The red barn is on the west side of the lake. Did you mean on the east side of the lake all the way across from the red barn, or right in front of the red barn on the west side of the lake?

limp biscuit, has that activity been early morning or late afternoon. I have been on vacation all last week and was on the lake every morning and checked all areas including the red barn I never saw any activity or marked any ctivity on my graph, but I didn't fish the lake in late afternoons. I did pick up some fish by the old railraod track, but they were scarce. Thenks Gene
