Could it have been a Grinnel? There's a bunch of them in there & look somewhat similar to a snakehead

My first trip to Fork in the 80s produced a 10 lb. Grinnell and we had no idea what it was. Some old boys about a 100 yards away thought we had landed the big kahuna after watching the fight and net job. We trolled over to them just to ask what it was and they clued us in and got a big laugh out of it
