 ponds near grand prarie

Has anyone fished the big ponds on wildlife rd, near I30 and beltline in grand prarie? they are west of lonestar park. I caught some cats there and was wondering if they are safe to eat? If so, its worth the trip because there are alot of big cats in there. If anyone wants to go let me know!

I used to fish those ponds 25 years ago and never caught squat. Good to see they are paying off for someone.

ive been a couple of times but never did any good. matter of fact, dont think i have caught anything outta them ponds. they look great though.

Seen a lot of shad jumping as well as quite a few gar. Never caught anything though.
Really snaky at dusk be careful.
