I'm just wanting to go throw some of my big swimbaits some. Is water fairly clear or real dirty?

If it caught any rain the west side will be dirty, last time I was out the west side was pretty muddy.

You need to commit to the swimbait at Ivie..........look for one bite, it might take all day but she will be ugly and fat. Good luck.

Hubbard Creek did not come up any, none of the creeks out here ran. The lake has been kinda dirty from the wind on the west end and above the bridge all month. The fishing is still real tough but the rain did cool the water down about 8 degrees so it won't be long until they are on.

Retirement best job ever.

Nice to hear the water temperature dropped that much. Wish it would have caught some water though. Just looked at the radar and there is a pretty strong cell over the lake right now. Hopefully it turns em on cuz I'll be there bright and early in the morning. Hopefully we get into some good ones. If anyone has any tips please feel free to share.

If you want to throw a swimbait and have a chance at some good fish it can happen at Hubbard Creek. The fishing there is pretty good. I would head there instead of Ivie. Not near the pressure and alot of good water to fish. If you need some more details P.M. and I will be happy to help. Good luck no matter what you decide.
