I am looking at going canping on RC soon. When i have been on the lake in the past i put in at Oak Cove. I have noticed as i head out of the marina and go right going under the 287 bridge and head down the lak there is a camping facility on the left side as i am heading toward the dam. Does anyone have any info on this facility - name, contact info, good, bad? Thanks for any help!!!

You're looking at Pelican Isle RV Resort. I believe it's only for RV's and not Tent Camping, as I've never heard of anyone camping there.

Fisherman's Point Marina on the South side of the Lake off Farm Road 416 has Tent Camping, RV Pads, Cabins,Restaurant and is one of only two Marinas with a Boat Launch that is open. Oak Cove is the other.

Fisherman's Point has a Website link on my site at www.gonefishin.biz

Be careful on the Lake as it's 10' low and there's some water hazards you don't normally have to deal with.(Sandbars, Treetops, etc.)

Good Luck and Good Fishing!
