I have always wanted to do that.

The hardest thing about fishing is figuring out what the fish want to eat.

With all due respect to both fisherman and personal watercraft owners, I would climb in your boat, and personally whip a** if anyone tried that...

ha ha. It goes both ways fellas. Everyone should respect what others are doing on the water. We all are not fisherman, but I am a fisherman that also owns a wet bike. I have never had any problems with fisherman/boaters, but in the situation that I did, I would feel sorry for the person throwing a line at me.

The problem is that fishermen (in boats or on shore) rarely interfere with jetskiers' activities, but jetskiers frequently interfere with fishermen's activities. Many jetskiers are like smokers who light up in a restaurant, and then get offended when others don't want to breathe in their fumes.

JustFishin,

If you are close enough to get a hook set like that, then you are too close by law. You probably have never had any problems with fisherman because you respect their space, and they appreciate the fact you are having fun on the water without running right up to them.

It is the other idiots that think because they are quick and nimble that they can come up and harass the fisherman because they can get away fast. I have never had a problem with anyone that respects my right to be there and I respect their right to be there. None of us own the water and we have to be willing to share. So I doubt if you will ever have to worry about opening that can of whoop *** because you aren't the one causing the problem. Thanks!!
