just got this rod,,looking for a good reel in the 75.00 range.What you guys think?Gear ratio also helpful.

If you're looking at that price range, the Daiwa Exceler is hard to beat. That or find a used Team Daiwa Advantage or Shimano Curado around that price range. There aren't a lot of options in the sub $100 reels. Based on the rod name, I'll guess that you may want to throw a senko or other other weightless plastic. Go with a reel with 7.1:1 gear ratio...faster the ratio, the easier it is to pick up slack line before setting the hook.
