Wow Keith Combs that is an impressive weight, just wonder if he can keep it all the next two days. Very impressive though.

Not unless he catches a 9 every day.

Thanks, Debra. Pretty tightly bunched group of incredible anglers in that top 30 or so. Looks like a horse race. These guys can flat catch 'em anywhere they go. It will be very interesting to see how the event plays out.

Lance Vick is going to be hard to beat. He is in second, first had a 9 pounder. Keith gonna need a bigger average, unless of course he manages another 9 or 10 pounder.
Go Lance!!

Gary Klein won a U.S. Bass tournament on Tawakoni some years back. Late 80's or early 90's. Seems like the ole girl suits him well.

Wow lots of BIG sticks with less than 10 lbs. But that top 5-6 had a good day. Its a 3 day grind though, I'm guessing 15 lbs a day will get you near the top. Big sacks on the 1st day are great but you have to keep doing it 2 more days. It those "closers" you have to watch out for on day 3.

A few top ten guys way back.

If they want to be on Conroe for the TTBC in October they better get on em. I believe the top 15 go.
