The bull reds are running hard at the Surfside jetty. Caught and released 4 last night after work. My back hurts this morning.

I dont know if I have the right setup for bull reds. I have a 6'6" pole with 20lbs test.

Im not trying to catch bull reds. I just wanna try to catch some specs and reds. What bait were yall using to catch the specs near the high school? How would I know the water conditions? Is there a spot to put a generator and lights?

Well last week on Sunday. My dad and I was out there in surfside jetty and the wind is very strong. Waves were splashing us on the left even tho we stood on the right side to fish.

We caught 13 Spanish Mackerel and no other fish. People around us caught 1 or 2 since their using live shrimp.

No pics. I was by myself and had mullet all over my hands. Fresh cut mullet is what I was using.

The water was nice and fish was good on friday. It should be better today (Saturday). There are smack and lady fish through out the whole day. Caught more smack with mullet then live shrimp.
