I'm with Fouz, which 'lane'..........the Mustang guide route,
or from the marina north to the main boat lane?
My chip does not have a route from the marina to the main boat
lane, but if you stay half way between the bridge and Clarkson,
before making the turn to LFM, I've never hit anything.
YET! smile Rainin' now........hopefully all will be moot. wink
Best luck,
Jim

My boat lanes chip has a route from LFM to the 515 bridge.

Up until a couple of months ago you could go to Bing.com and pull up their maps. You could use the birds eye view feature on the western sections of the lake when it was very low. I`m guessing between 5-10 feet low. The pictures were so good you could see the stumps. Unfortunately, they have replaced them with other aerial views.

I do the same thing. Is this wrong?

My fishing partner hit a big one going into Dale this weekend. It was just left of the markers. Major fiberglass repair and lower unit repair. look out for that one as well. It is just to the left of the marker where the hump starts going up.

Guys,
Sorry I didn't get a waypoint?????
I was so shocked that I hit it, then pissed! Like I said, I was running my trail and then I always visually check my position with the green spot/antenna.
The optimax still got us across the lake and we did well fishing so not all was lost. But, it was an expensive weekend.

Glad to hear your going to be back in commission that quick! Yeah, I've been driving around with my fingers crossed lately.. we'll see how long that works.

I guess I understand it being a little tough getting a waypoint right after you whack something on pad grin.. been there done that, got the bill.

I ran the lake a TON when it was 4.5-5ft low.....you guys must be taking a turn at the wrong buoy....there is a hump out there that has 2 widow makers....but we still have a good ways to go before they pop up.

Dale, mustange, little mustang, and a big stretch going out from oil well are dangerous when the lake gets another foot or so lower.

Biggest area i think people lose lower units is the trees from main boat lane into williams/little mustang, and mustang.....people run them sideways and cross...kinda confusing.

Saw the one in Dale this weekend....

If you guys are running from lil caney area into dale following the buoys stay on the right side going in. It's just on the left side of the buoys about 10 ft if that and its a monster. If you stay just on the right side going in should be ok or at least we were this last weekend.
