Was over a friends house and noticed a boat fishing his dock....Got to looking and it was Tommy Biffle....they are here prefishing on Lake Tawakoni for PAA....Out of all the Pro's fishing it Biffle, Evers and Martens would be the ones I would want to meet....I was very fortunate....to me it's a big deal and a proud moment....thought I would share it....I was so nervous I forgot to shake his hand but I did get a picture with him....very nice guy and very talkative....also I was in the store this morning at daylight and I met Matt Herron....the crazy thing is I just watched those two guys on TV the other night on bassmasters fishing a lake in Oklahoma....Biffle won it and I think Herron got 2nd....thanks for reading my moment lol

Did he yell at you to get off of his hole? J/K
That's a cool experience, it's always neat to run into those guys.

Met Tommy at a seminar in Amarillo a few years age. He inspired me to lean to flip & pitch left handed. I did & it has done wonders in my techinque arsonal Great guy!!! Met KVD at the same seminar, he showed me how to modify pop-r baits. This seminar made me money. Can't say that about most.

That's awesome! Do you know who makes the rod with the bright blue blank that Biffle's been using on the Elite series? Was he using one of those blue rods when you saw him?

Thanks Mark. I know it's kinda sliding off topic, but I just looked at his sig sticks on Tackle Warehouse (I think they're great looking rods!) It's ironic that on the 7'2" MH spiral wrap I just built, I used the same Fuji ACS reel seat, grips/handle config....maybe some subliminal influence <G>. Interesting placement of the hook keeper.

Bfrezzy. That is so cool. I had the same experience and still do. A friend of mine passed away and the family asked me to sell his boat. I put it on craig`s list. A guy called me and said his name was Charlie. When his wife and he pulled up ,he said I am Charlie Youngers. I said I have heard that name before. He said ,I fished the bass masters elite tounaments but I am retired now do to back problems. It was neat to have a bass masters elite tournament fisherman in your drive way. He looked at the boat and said in 2 minutes I will take it. He moved from Florida to Palistine, Tx. We have to deliver the boat to him on the 15th. I have pics with him and he gave us his flyers and business cards and one is the bassmasters elite cards. He was down to earth. Great guy. Just had to share that.

Bfrenzy and anyone else,

Tommy and the other PAA pros will be at Bass Pro Shops in Garland this Wednesday from about 3 p.m. to 5:30 for official registration.

Y'all are welcome to come meet and talk with them at the store. We'll have free seminars from 5:30 to 6:50 p.m. with Jason Quinn, Pete Ponds, Bradley Hallman and Edwin Evers.

They'll be around the West Tawakoni City Park site Thursday and Friday at the PAA weigh-ins, and then Saturday at Bass Pro Shops. Seminars start at noon, with the final weigh-in at 4:30 p.m. Should be fun.

Come visit, meet the guys and chat a bit. They won't bite.

PAA Communications Director

Pretty cool man.....To most people that don't fish they don't understand what it's like to meet a Pro.....I was telling some buddies and they were like big deal lol..

Man I can't believe they are staying there lol....No disrespect but that's surprising....I live in Emory and it seems like most them guys are staying around Lake Fork....How come you stop fishing the Thursday night tournaments?
