The other owner of the boat and I went out to fayette this morning. Aside from getting a late start, we had a pretty good day. I was able to land 5 or 6 and my bud landed one. We had many missed opps mostly missed strikes on scum frogs, but it was a real good time and couldnt be mroe happy to have the boat back. First bass of day First "keeper" of the day ( or ever on that lake-slot lake) It mustve been HUNGRY! Then i got one more my style- weighed in just under 5 well my friend was having a ruff day and just couldnt seem to land one, but its alright.... we finally got him one in the boat and it was a 4.5# at that. It was good times, and great to have the champ back

Great job. We were out their from 7 to 11:00 and only caught one. The water temp was 68. L.O.L. I think you were in the back cove when we pulled up past the tank dam ,then in the cove way in the back left side of the dam? I never had seen anyone pull one up the whole time we were their. We had guest down for the weekend and their were 4 of us casting out of the Pro Craft. That was a SPECIAL MOMENT.I could have been killed or worse. Congrats again. Nice looking fish.

Yes when you were unloading. When I left the lake was getting pretty crowded.

Had one about the size of that one on the Rattle Trap during a Athens tournament this year. Thankfully I was able to cull it before weigh in! Thought I was going to have to put him in a minnow bucket just to keep him from swiming out the drain in the livewell! Pretty fishys!

Yes when you were unloading. What time did you get out of their? When I left the lake was getting pretty crowded. we left the at like 9 pm. We stayed all day. But we were breaking in our boat motor (just put on a new head) and we went into town for an hour or two to eat lunch. We went for a lil swim adn what not. If u left at 11, u missed a lot of the schoolies out int he middle of the lake!!! They were fun.

10-4 .I started to see fish hitting the top of the water before we left ,but got up early Saturday and fished gibbons with four people in the boat ,then got up early Sunday to fish Fayette. I was toast when we left and could`nt wait to get home yesterday. The company of our friends was good staying up late each night, but the fishing four out of a boat and trying to fish, run the troll motor and dodging hooks I dont recommend.L.O.L

Thanks for the report and sharing your keeper . Caught one of those a couple of weeks ago trolling in the middle of the lake. Couple of more weeks and the bite all over the lake should be picking up.
