Almost thirty years ago I fixed up this old boat. I had decked the front level with the bench seats and covered the floor in the rear half. I covered it all in green astroturf. Well thirty years later after sitting in the pasture all the wood decayed and there was stuff growing in the dirt and mud that filled the rear of the boat.. My friend who owns the boat cleaned out the boat and brought it over to the house for me to fix up again. I wish I had a photo of how it looked back then but I was pretty proud of my handiwork. I only remember taking it out a few times before I went into the Air Force and left home.

Here it is with new side boards, oars and sealer on the bottom.

And with a thick fresh coat of paint on the inside. I'm not spending too much effort this time because I just want something that is seaworthy to fish out of and it don't need to be pretty to catch fish!

Now just sit back and imagine fishing on some quiet little lake out of this old boat.
