I was out of town or I would have participated. It sounds like a good time and a good cause. Thanks for the report.

Thanks to the organizers for a fun tournament. A personal thanks to Joe Mcdanial for putting together our team (Hienz 57) and for being such a great host. Sign me up for next years event!

BTW that catfish was a whopping 2.1lb!!! and a winna!

This was a fun event folks. Trent, Michael Stewart and John Farrell did a great job organizing it, and Boaters World came through in a big way.

The Tourney plus raffle sales on the bait tank and flag sales (not all on Saturday) meant an additional $1800 went toward the efforts. With the Fed 3 for one match, that means another $7200 for OPW.

To expand some on Trent's comments, we are trying to get Texas, Oklahoma and the Corps together for a multiyear effort, starting next year, to add more public cleaning stations on the lake.

We would love to have our TFF friends join the fun.

We still have plenty of PrunePicker Salsa to sell. Two more raffles for Guide trips -- one with Jeff JD Lyle and one with Mark Macnamara. Now that the Grayline Tank has been raffled, we will have a Sunshine Tank to raffle off this fall.

Several other things going on.

Thanks for you good wishes.

Actually, we still have THREE guide trips that are still open. June's trip is with James Allen of Bluewater Guide Service. Then mine in July, and JD's in August.

Entries are available for $3 each, or a 5-pack for $12.
