The rocker switch on my T/M control panel got a short in it and now my T/M is useless. It's the 12/24 three position switch. It has six spade style post on the back. If I checked the continuity (sp?)and found one just like it, could I just replace the rocker switch? Any guru's on here know about this mess? I need help quick, please??????

Although I love the pick of the chocolate lab, post a pic of the switch you have so we can see if it has the shorting connections built into it. They will look like brass leads from 1 post to another.

Would suggest bypassing the switch and wiring all 24v from batteries to the trolling motor plug.

I took a couple of pics, hope you can tell. I should be able to just replace the switch, if I can figure out which one I need.

Go to your local dealer and they should have them and might even find one in there back room for real cheap. Or if you only use it on 24 do like suggested above and direct wire it.

Problem solved. My next door neighbor used to rig bass boats. He by passed the switch, so it rus on 24 only, which according to him is what my T/M is wired for. Thanks for the suggestions.
