Go for it!

I've got rods by Shimano, Falcon, St Croix, abd Dobyns. Seems like the Dobyns are all I fish anymore.

Late4lake is a Dobyns dealer and he'll treat you right.

I own loomis glx, falcon t7, and a host of other rods, my Dobyns are my favorites. I still use the others and they are good rods, but to me the Dobyns just feel better in my hands and the actions fit my style of fishing.

I wasn't sure about them until my wife and I both tried them out. There wasn't a rod on the market that compared to them in sensitivity and "feel" while holding it. I only have Dobyns Rods in my boat now. You will not regret buying any of them. Let me know what you're wanting the rod for in the way of Texas rig, swim bait, or Carolina rig and I'll let you know my findings on them.

Fantastic rods. I just wish he would put a better hook keeper on them.

+1

I have 5 Dobyns and I took my rods to a custom shop and had an open style hook keeper added. Even on the swimbait rods the keeper is small. But that's the only thing I didn't like about them.
